It features an asynchronous erasure function that allows you to swap out HDDs/SSDs as the erasure process is complete and then perform a fresh erasure.

Since each drive can be erased independently, once the erasure on one HDD/SSD is complete, you can connect a new HDD/SSD and start erasing even if the other drive is still being erased.

Equipped with 6 different erasure algorithms, allowing you to select the erasure method according to your needs.

▶ Quick Erase

This process writes zeros to the first sector of the disk. The process completes very quickly.

▶ Full deletion

Write zeros to all sectors of the disk.

▶ Secure erasure

The data will be erased using the drive’s erase secure function.

▶ DoD removal

The hexadecimal values 00 (first time) and FF (second time) are written to all sectors, and then a random number is overwritten on the third time.

▶ DoD Erase and Compare

Write 0x00, 0xFF, and a random number to all sectors, and then perform a compare test.

▶ Delete 7 times

The HDD will be erased seven times. Because this involves a total of seven accesses, the erasure process will take a very long time to complete.

Copying data from SAS HDD/SSD and SATA HDD/SSD.

Copying between different types of drives, such as SAS to SATA and SATA to SAS, is also possible.
*Copying is not possible if the sector sizes (512e, 4Kn, etc.) differ between the source and destination drives.

This is the standard HDD/SSD copy function included in the Koredo-dai series.

3 types of copy modes

▶ System and File Copy

This process copies only the system data and files from the HDD. Because it copies only the data being used and not the free space, the copy time is minimized.

▶ Partition copy

Only the allocated space will be copied, including all free space.

▶ Complete HDD/SSD copy

This will copy the entire contents of your HDD. It can copy regardless of the operating system or format.

Copy assistance function

▶Error skip function

If there are sector errors on the disk, you can skip the error locations and force the copy to continue.
*Please note that if you skip errors during the copy process, the copied HDD/SSD may not function correctly.

▶Compare function

This function compares the contents of the source disk and the destination disk to determine if they are identical.

IDE HDDs can also be connected using the included dedicated adapter (IDE to SATA conversion adapter).

Equipped with a work log output function.

• The deletion log can be written as text data to a USB memory stick.
• The output log can be viewed on a PC or other device.
• The USB memory stick is not included.
